It's hard to take one in the states.In Many European countries and Australia, vacation time lasts for about 3 months out of the year, I should move...haha.-Lindsey

It's also a lot easier to travel on the cheap, since most of Europe has a very good mass transportation system. The U.S. has basically planes to get from one city to another. Most trains are for freight or travel only within a specific urban area, and Greyhound is slow and a little sketchy.But Europe, oh man. Trains go everywhere, all the time, and for not much money. There are also websites that will help you connect with other people heading where you're heading, so you can carpool. There are a few like that here, but I wouldn't trust people here. I'd trust them in Europe, they're a different people.
